WHITETAIL DEER HUNTING

Whitetail deer are plentiful on the surrounding islands. Eight, ten and twelve pointers are common, with many scoring over 160. The body and antler mass of the average deer is exceptionally large in this area. Non-typical racks of fifteen to nineteen points are taken every year.

To ensure trophy populations year after year, bookings are for made for a maximum of six hunters at any given time. Trips extend for six nights and seven days.

FISHING
Lake of the Woods is well known for its trophy Muskie. Professional guides are available to assist your group in locating these award-winning treasures. The lake also abounds with walleye, northern pike, bass and lake trout.
In order to reach the richest waters in the area, you and your guests will be met at the Grace Anne II by recreation staff in 20-foot pro-fishing boats equipped with 175 hp engines. Each boat provides ample room for two guests and a guide, and each has been outfitted with the most up-to-date Shimano fishing equipment and safety features. To add to the fun, we offer a chance to practice your swing on our floating driving range.
After a morning of successful catches, your guests are in store for the ultimate reward, the traditional shore lunch. After a dousing of our famous secret recipe bread coating, the morning's catch is filleted and fried over an open fire.

A deHaviland DHC-6 Twin Otter Float Plane will whisk you away to one of Grace Annes boat caches. A team of professional guides ready to meet your every need will meet you upon arrival. Spend the day celebrating the best the Canadian wilderness has to offer, and still be back aboard the Grace Anne II in plenty of time for cocktails and regales.
